About Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach is one of the Pacific Northwest's premier vacation destinations and has been recognized as one America's top art communities. The picturesque beach town is home to nearly 20 art galleries showcasing a full range of visual arts. Just steps from town are miles of sandy beach, punctuated by dramatic rock formation including one of Oregon's most famous natural landmarks, Haystack Rock. The volcanic formation, millions of years old rises 235 feet above the beach at the ocean's edge. Haystack Rock is a National Wildlife Refuge and home to nesting puffins and other seabirds each spring and summer. At low tides, colorful tidepools filled with sea stars, anemones and other sea life can be explored.

Just a few minutes from downtown Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park offers sightseers some of the Pacific Coast's most inspiring views. Hikers can enjoy miles of trails through the rainforest-covered headland to dramatic Pacific Ocean panoramas.

Textile artists will be inspired by the works in local galleries and the Cannon Beach History Center features regular quilt exhibits. Our store is located next door to a working glassblowing studio. The Latimer Quilt and Textile Center in Tillamook is a short day trip from Cannon Beach.
